Windchimes

Windchimes, chiming in the wind and driving me up the proverbial....So, it's been a windy day today, which seems to have shifted the ash plume from the Icelandic volcano away from over much of Europe. Moreover, British airspace is reportedly being opened again from tomorrow. We've got fifteen staff, thirteen of whom are academic, stranded by the flying restrictions. Most of these staff have been in touch and are not hopeful about getting back to Scotland before the weekend. Seems like we prepared for all contingencies with the threat of Swine 'flu, but missed the boat a bit with preparing for this one.

Anyway, anyway a good day at work despite all this. The rest of the staff and students back after the Easter break were all looking refreshed and rarin' to go!
