Upon a wee trip down to the library tonight, it would seem that one of my favourite photo subjects (outside of these two) are starting to re-appear after the long winter we just had.
There were flocks of them all over the park taking up residence in the different parts of the park displaying typical behaviours for this early in the season and for the their relative lack of maturity.
It's probably more near the end of the weeks in the height of summer that more mature specimens will start to appear with the typical diet that they are often associated with and can clearly be found consuming in preparation for their 'in season'.
