Southsea Breakwater

Lovely day today walking along Southsea waterfront and Old Portsmouth. Lots of photo opportunities - Southsea Castle, Clarence Pier, Spinnaker Tower, the fishing ships and bistros in Old Portsmouth - but I settled on this quirky arrangement of shoreline stonework, possibly a breakwater arrangement?

I know it has a bad reputation, but I do like (parts of) Portsmouth.
