Plan B

The Icelandic volcano has forced me to go to Plan B this weekend.

This weekend, I have a prep weekend for the BSAC National Instructor exam. It's taking place in at a dive centre just north of Bristol called Cromhall Dive Centre. My original plan was to fly to Bristol and my friend Ben was going to pick me up.

Then on Monday, I am at a conference in London and was planning to fly home on Tuesday from Gatwick. My friend Andy was going to give me a lift from Bristol to London on Sunday evening.

However, Plan B is kicking into action.

I left North Berwick in my car at 4.30pm today. The roads were clearer than I expected and after a relatively easy seven and a half hour journey, I arrived at the hotel just before midnight!
