We Remember

I got to campus early today to help with a massive work project and there was this military dude standing guard next to a wreath.

It wasn't until I quizzed my coworkers that I discovered that it was the anniversary of the Virginia Tech Massacre.

I think it's nice we're commemorating the day, but it made me wonder how exactly do you get a soldier to stand guard like this? Do you pay by the hour? Who do you call to inquire?

These are the types of things I wonder about.
