Mere Sands Wood Reserve.

Another lovely day was spent on the nature reserve. Chippy needed to see one of his customers in Lancashire so we made a day of it with a flask and sandwiches. Last time we were here I blipped a kingfisher, but this time it eluded me.

Herons are much bigger than kingfishers, more common and easier to spot!

I'll make that do and look forward to the next time!
