A Day Out With The Camera

My friends trying to get into photography and I thought that Shoreham with it's mix of Industrial and Leisure would offer many opportunities for different photography, which it did. But it also left me with a very difficult decission as to which pic to put on, the choice was;

A beach landscape with pretty sky and sun, a close up of the pebbles on the beach or this slight weird shot which I felt was a funny chalk and cheese affair which combined both subjects quite well. But what do you think?
