Cacophony

Today I went to an electro-acoustic muscial performance and more or less hated it. I just had extreme difficulty getting past the discordant sounds, which only gave me a headache, instead of inducing some kind of vivid fascination and experience. I fear I missed the point. It didn't help that it was situated in a 3rd floor loft conversion which was severely lacking in air.
