Wall

I have a brilliant photo on my kitchen wall called 'Coping Stones' which I picked up whilst holidaying on Skye some years ago. The photo had won a local competition and was taken on the island of a dry stone wall covered in all sorts of interesting growths. The limestone reminded me of home here in Yorkshire as well as lovely holidays on the Kyle of Lochalsh.

I watch my own wall each season to see if it will develop similar plant life. As spring progresses it is once more being covered by flowers and mosses, this is an early blip of the aubretia.
