Almost gone

Just one day later and after a cold windy night the blossom has about 3 days left. Unfortunately this Japanese apple blossom tree which does not have any fruit is very old and is slowly dying. Each year within 4 weeks of the blossoms changing the leaves wither and die.
Very sad to see, but what a magnificent sight this tree has been over the last 20 + years.
