Lyra goes off-road

Lyra is five months old today. She has celebrated by exploring the garden with Daddy (whilst mummy was baking a wedding cake). She really liked the feeling of grass beneath her bare feet and found all sorts of new and exciting things to try and eat...

At her 5 month review we determined that Lyra had performed well on her key performance indicators this month and her main focus has been on rolling and trying to crawl as well as developing her deep and dirty laugh and making initial forays into the world of grown up food.

As this picture illustrates, she has not come close to mastering the skill of sitting up and her abilities in this area will be reexamined at her 6 month review. If she succeeds in sitting unaided, she will be considered for a payrise...
