So what do you do when you are tired, it is a lackluster day, and you are due some inspiration but it is just not coming?

I find that I wander back to my photographic comfort zone, something similar to what I have shot before, something that is readily available.

If that is not possible it's time for me to switch to what benek and scintilla call YKYDFAB, (You Know You're Desperate For A Blip)...when:

1.) the color image looks so bad that I change it to B&W.

2.) the image looks so bad that I pump up or alter the colors to emulate something from the sixties... you may understand this if you were alive in the sixties and remember such a thing.

3.) I go crazy in photoshop.

4.) I look for something abstract.

5.) I look for typical household items and try to make them interesting... I have never been successful with this.

6.) If all else fails, photograph the dog, younger members of the family, babies, flowers... bluesheep and scintilla won't allow this.
