serialism

Today I am working my way to the end of Kenneth Leighton's Conflicts which I am anaylsing for my dissertation. I've written lots about other aspects, but today I have reached the conclusion that it will be useful and interesting to mark up all the tone rows. . . time consuming and irritating work, not difficult, just sometimes a bit puzzling. I wish I had done it earlier in the dissertation process (eg last October!). Dissertation is due in 19 days. Joy.
