Innocence
This morning reminded me of the monday I missed off work, woke up late, rushed out the door jogging to work and doing up my tie on the way, and everyone was in the Monday mood.. In fact, I'm convinced it is Monday today. But its not, I know, I checked 3 times. Work was exciting as usual, me and Kyle, my colleague, were waiting in anticipation as we were getting a new council van today (aka, 'the tank'). When it arrived, we were talking like it was our new car, it looks really cool - and very different to any of the other council vehicles - it was like an ice blue colour, with 'go faster' stripes, a total difference to the bog standard white vans the council are so fond of. To say the least, we were impressed, even by the fact it had a CD player. I've booked it out on Thursday to do some jobs, so no doubt, I'll be raving about it then too.
After work I've been relaxing, I was worn out and shattered. My brother and his girlfriend came to visit. He shouted, "I have a surprise", I went through and he looked at me, and then looked down, I looked down and saw the most adorable puppy I have ever seen, its practically a Andrex puppy clone, it was Soooo cute! Her name is Morgan. I have been taking photos of her all night - wish I could put up more, got so many good ones, but this is one of when she got tired of pulling my hair, nibbling my ear and licking the lens. :]
That puppy has quite possibly made my day - reminds me of the good times I had with our last two dogs when they were that small.. :]
