My First Camera

It's been a quiet day for blips in the barrio. I rejected them all and settled on this one of my first camera, a Nikon F3 which was my 21st birthday present, many moons ago.

It's been about the world a bit since then and picked up a dent or two but it still works beautifully and the wind-on lever is like a hot knife through butter! It feels very small in the hand beside my present DSLR but still robust. About to try the 50mm manual 1.4 lens on the digital to see what happens!

...and no, none of the shots I took with it appear in the book it's resting on! One day!
