while I was sleeping

...the mantle clock stopped.

To be honest it is stopped more than it is going but I know it was going yesterday cos I dusted.

It's a right faff to get going again as the winder thing for the hands at the back is missing so you have to use pliers to set the time right.

Sometimes I try and remember to wind it when it is at the right time, but I have missed that for today, maybe I'll remember tomorrow, or I could find the pliers.
