Not What I Had Planned

After a most horrific night of sleep - or should I say, lack thereof - I thought 'hmm, a quick stop by mom & dad's, then some much needed coffee, and some me time', but no. The Universe was quite the little prankster today. I never made it past mom & dad's, since the car wouldn't start and we had to get it towed to the shop and a new battery put in. But at least it was just the battery, and nothing more serious - or expensive. Whew! A lot of my 'me' time was spent w/ hubby waiting, and I never did get that coffee. May have to call it an early night because I am pooped!
