Weather still good but will it last?

Spent a large part of the morning chasing a blooming fly that has been annoying me for two days. At one point it cheekily flew past me and I reached out to grab it, I have seen this done on manys a Kung Fu film so just like little arsehopper, I grabbed the fly. Not of course thinking for a minute I had been successful, I opened my mitt and did the pesky fly no fly off. I had indeed done the little grasshopper trick and now I had gone and let the flaming thing go!!!! I then thought, ach to Hell with the tree huggers and went and got the evil fly spray and sqooshed at this miniscule fly till the tin was almost empty and I was almost chocked. Ah got you now you little twerp. WRONG! it was still buzzing about me defying me to do my worst with the tin while it sauntered across my laptop screen. There was no alternative but to get out the big fly zapper - the Oban Times. 10 mins later it was curtains for the fly and last!

#1 daughter is home this weekend and will no doubt be partying.
Tomorrow my friend and I are off to Falkland Palace to go on a balloon trip. the last time we went it was cancelled as the wind was too strong and today it was cancelled so I hope when we get there tomorrow it will go up and I can take some good pictures. I don't think the volcanic ash will be any hazard to a hot air ballon. My only worry is that the last time we were there I did notice that the balloon basket has understanably very high sides and me being somewhat vertically challenged!!!! I may not actually be able to see over the side
