Forever blowing bubbles

I had to clean the fish tank tonight. It's supposed to be Jamie's fish tank. Hahahaha. We feed the fish, I clean the tank. James occasionally remembers that they are there. I love the fishies though and am currently plotting to get another tank and more fish...they are therapeutic.

Decided to play with the extender rings and try and get some close ups of the bubbles from the air pipe.

My hand was in the water holding the pipe for that long that the fish assumed that my hand was a new feature and they kept coming up and brushing past and doing little fishy kisses on my hand. Strange at first but it was quite interesting (so Corin had to have a go afterwards).

I'm sure loads of people have commented on this, but I have been so utterly transfixed by the sky today - I have never, that I can remember, seen a sky without vapour trails. Its peculiar and a little disturbing. Peaceful though. Maybe there should be one day a month worldwide where there are no flights at all for 24hours. Just for the quiet? Imagine the positive effect on carbon footprints that would have.

It's time for my medication...dreaming of Utopia is clearly madness. Particularly in a world where informing someone of important facts about the reasons why chairs have four legs and the potential risks of said chair being swung on to two legs means that you are insulting the person in question. Apparently if you tell someone to stop swinging on a chair because it might break or they might hurt themselves, it's an implication that they are fat or something. Nothing to do with looking out for their personal safety. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Ah well.

I have shouted today. My throat hurts now. It maybe time for a wee dram.
