Abandoned mail

Went with my friend Naima to get her kimono from the post office, and upon leaving, we saw this piece of abandoned mail next to the steps. It seemed like something important about a legal case, and we debated on whether to leave it there, or return it to the post office. I snapped a few pictures, and we returned it to the post office. Quite the adventure.

Also went to get my new student VTA pass for the year, but they said they had mailed it to me, and if I hadn't gotten my new bus pass by the time the old one expired, to come down again and get another one. Excuse me? When my pass expires, I'm supposed to magically ride the busses to get downtown to the campus to get my new one? That makes TOTAL sense. not.
