Buds and blue skies

Along with the rest of the UK I've been preoccupied with the sky today.

First my boss was over visiting from Ireland and had his flight back canceled, I think he's swimming home - I offered to loan him my fins and snorkel . . .

Second it's been another glorious day, sunshine and blue skies.

Third I live not far from the airport and it's been really strange not to see the planes coming in to land over the Forth, at peak times they come in every five minutes, but the sky has been free of metal birds all day.

Fortunately for me, I wasn't planning a trip, but I know plenty who have been very frustrated by the Earth's hiccy-burp
