skyline of Groningen
This is the sighting out of the window at my work! It overlooks part of the capital city Groningen. The church most right is the Martini Toren (Martini Tower). It's the most well known church in Groningen. You could say: the pride of Groningen. It finds itself in the citycenter and is pretty impressive.
The picture looks a bit unclear maybe, that's because Europe is suffering from a dustcloud due to the vulcano-eruption in Iceland. All flights are cancelled, no plane is allowed in or out the Netherlands and all airports were closed all day.
As I got home I saw some herons at the waterfront of a stream near my house. One was staring in the water, I guess he was hungry? The other one had been more lucky, he was just feeding on a little fish.
I thought it was a great blip, but when I opened the picture on my laptop it was to hazy. So no heronblip today.
Have a nice weekend you all!!! Another workingweek is over.
