STAR BUT NO STRIPES

Hasn't it been extraordinary today to look up into the sky and not see a sign of a jetstreak? Lovely sunshine. Beautiful spring day. But my poor sister, Joan, may not be able to fly away tomorrow on her annual holiday! It's doubly awful when there is no visible evidence of what it is that is causing all the problem.

I didn't watch the politicals last night. I watched Welcome to Lagos. If you didn't see it, try and view it on BBC iPlayer. It's an excellent documentary.
