John Wayne is big leggy

Went out to Amazonia today, part of the spectacular that is M&D's at Strathclyde Park.
It's on our doorstep, but like true locals, we tend to avoid (or should that be 'shun') it.

It was officially 'alright', a reasonable number of semi-exotic animals for your viewing pleasure.

Not sure I'd vouch that the £4.75 a head entrance fee was entirely worth it, but we had some free tokens, so not a factor this time. For an extra quid (per head) you get in to the petting room, where a bunch of semi-unimpressed weans get a supervised hold of three of the available species.

It was far too busy today, more like pass the reptile.
On this visit, we tormented a Bearded Dragon Lizard, Python and this chap; a Chilean tarantula.
