Caldbeck fell ponies

Had a trip to caldbeck today in search of a small waterfall there, didnt find the waterfall, but did find these guys :)
There are loads of the cute little ponies wandering loose over the caldbeck fells, and they are so friendly! As soon as you step out of your car they all come trotting over - obviously they are very used to being given treats by passers by!
We only saw one foal, he was so sweet, and the mother didn't bat an eyelid as her offspring was patted and stroked by an entire passing family.

I decided to do this one in monochrome as I didn't feel the colours added anything to the picture. To me it has more emotion and depth this way :)
