Off Your Trolley!

So time to focus a bit on my journal's title 'Around the Block' and my username 'Barrioboy' - the block/barrio is Les Corts in Barcelona...it's modern (1960's onwards, although our own street dates back to the 1920's) and fairly central with local food markets, shopping centres, sports centres, good schools, squares, parks and playgrounds, hundreds of bars and restaurants and easy metro and bus access (10 minute trip) to the very heart of Barcelona..oh and a football stadium which goes by the name of 'Camp Nou'!

You can get anything and do everything here and sometimes we don't leave the barrio for days on end. I will be taking quite a few blips around this block but also branch out, as in the last few weeks and days, to other parts of the city and Spain. I guess some of the shots, like today's, will have mundane subject matters but I will try to make them interesting in one way or another!

No household is complete without its shopping trolley or carrito and here are a few on sale in our local Chinese bazaar...
