not quite it

I was trying to capture the fineness of the "foliage" on the branches.
it's just a tree, like so many others I am surrounded with but the delicate green seemed like the tree was wearing finery, almost lacy dressing.

oh well. room for improvement is okay.

S.O. has caught "the cold' going around. I spent the last few weeks keeping my distance - didn't want him to get sick, especially with my vacation in 10 days! so much for that! of course, he doesn't just catch a cold like the rest of us. He has only been sick 24 hours and we already had a dr. appt.! Running a low fever. congestion gone to his chest. sore throat pain overwhelming him. those darn viruses! Dr. prescribed cough syrup when necessary but else all he gets is chicken soup, aspirin, gargle, rest & plenty of liquids. ( I can see my kids roll their eyes at that - "just what Mom said"!)
at least I know he will take the aspirin when offered and will sleep some.

10 days! The virus gets 10 days to make us both miserable and then we are through with it! my vacation awaits! :)
