Vogue on laundry day

I woke up early early to wait for a package from FedEx at the studios this morning. I got dressed quickly put on my jeans and sneakers, put my glasses on, no contacts, no make-up; to continue sleeping on the couch at the studio. (Usually I put some thought into what I wear, but not to day no no) At 10am I got a call from my boss, she was at a shoot for Vogue 'the 15 Upcoming Designers' where she was a part of. The question was 'if I would bring her Bodkin items from the this season for her to wear'. Why... why of all days, today, laundry day, I was asked to come to a Vogue shoot!

I ran around town, from Brooklyn to the showroom to West Village. And from West Village to Brooklyn and back for a pair of trousers. But as a treat I got to hang around for the shoot and eat the nice catering food! My boss introduced me to people as a super intern. So when we finally left a designer who was in the shoot too yelled bye superintern, it was nice meeting you! Hell of a day.
