All Freckles and Lashes
Sitting across from Euan on the train to Glasgow today I was aware of another sure sign that the winter's gone - his freckles are popping out in force. They retreat during the winter months but as soon as the sun starts to spend a little longer with us, they start to appear and spread across his face. If it's a really good year with long spells of unbroken sunshine, they would join up together and make it look like he has a fantastic tan. Needless to say, that's never happened...
Dropped the poorly DSLR off at the 'hospital' (it did feel like that as the guy took it off me and headed back inside the surgery to examine it, then returned with the prognosis; "Yea, we can fix it - we'll have to strip it down completely and rebuild it, should be ready in about a week") - so will be confined to alternative weapons for blipping during this. No biggie.
Took a wander round the Museum of Transport too, the last time we'll be able to do this as it closes on Sunday before re-opening in a shiny new building down by the River Clyde next Spring.
So, it turned out another good day out for us manly types, but looking forward to our girly types returning from their travels tomorrow.
Off to do some housework now in preparation (dispose of pizza boxes and empty beer bottles, unplug the PS3 from the 'big' telly, put the toilet seat back in its lower position, etc.)
