A glimpse of mountains

Driving home through the village at the bottom of the hill there is always this glimpse of the foothills of the Apuan Alps between a lovely traditional house on the left and a yellow modern building on the right. A short distance over the foothills are the marble mountains of Carrara, and between here and there innumerable mountain villages some with there own languages and some with their own industries like the making of nails.
