Ox chops

The last day we can get together before the season starts in earnest and the second day of partying for me this weekend.

These are enormous chuleton de buey - Ox chops! Worthy for any Asterix or Desperate Dan, they were fantastic, especially cooked over a wood fire, with lagoustines, octopus, plenty of wine and then strawberyy cake. The boys raced around the lawns of Lluis and Sonia's house, chased by Juan, Pepe, Manolo and even Agu. I stayed more horizontal, apart from when looking into the roots of a tree to spot the puput (Hoopoe) nesting. I hope it wasn't too traumatised by the sounds around it.
