b and s's caravan by the burn was as magical as ever. a row of little homes by the water with creativity in every corner and a sweet cat who looked small and defenceless until she turned up with a mouse in her mouth. we sat and listened to the sound of the water, painted, chatted and drank lady grey tea.

s has produced this amazing musical instrument - which has everything - a wind up gramophone, an acordion, a violin, trumpets, beach balls, balloons - all powered by the pedals of the bike around and on which it's been built.

in the background on the right is a musical marble maze which is piece of kinetic sculpture where shiny silver ball bearings play tunes on cut glass wine glasses.

they are women of creative genius and they and their home are unique and they leave me relaxed and speechless...
