Snookered!

We are parents of young children and loving it. Any of you reading this in a similar position will, like us be used to juggling balls and making the best of the time you have available. I regularly spend more time than is desirable away from the family home - at work. Most days, I'll be away from the house for 12 hours, missing story time, bath time, and bed time. So our week away together approached with great anticipation.

Today was to see a ride on a steam train, then lunch out to be followed by a swim before tea time. As it turned out, our younger daughter has been poorly and not up to a trip out today. So we changed plans at short notice and agreed to ride on the train another day (she did look so disappointed). I did at least get to enjoy a game and a swim with our older daughter.

Snookered we are, but I enjoy the colours. I hope you like them too.
