First Day Back
First day back to school this morning, and it was a lovely one - well, weather wise!
I had a development meeting this morning with a Midi Sequencing marker from SQA, as I wanted to know why my kids' marks were so low last year. It was a really useful meeting, and I was glad to know that I wasn't being stupid - I think that they were probably marked very harshly. Anyway, I shall take away his advice, and hopefully the kids will do better this year.
It was quite intense for the first day of the new term.
I was pleased that I had taken some shots like this on the way to work this morning, as everything was really clouded over when I left tonight. It turns out that some of the crofters have been out doing the annual heather burning, which I hate. I always think about the wee creatures who are just about building nests round about now.
And all for the sake of the bloody sheep.
