Lottery Win!

I got home today and saw an opened lottery envelope. I took a look at the contents and saw that there is a cheque...for $1405. Yay! It is the second biggest lotto win we have ever had.

It comes at a good time too with Jo now amongst the ranks of the unemployed. Yes, on Friday the new owners of the vet surgery let her go after 12 years of unblemished employment. I won't say any more. Jo is getting on with what she needs to do. She is a highly qualified, well respected vet nurse, she will find another job.

As for me...I need to decide how to spend my half of the winnings...
