Cooky on her special pillow

I caught our Cooky cat snoozing on her special pillow - special because one of the grands made it for her when he was here last year. Ben takes special care with his sewing projects and this is one of my favorites; looks like Cooky agrees.

Today was one of those struggling days. Got stuff done on the list "to be done before vacation trip" but this cold drags me out. We emptied and refilled the little garage freezer so now we know there are enough ice cream cups to hold him for a month or two. threw out the frozen partial loaves of bread taking up space. That made room for hot dogs, lasagne, balogna, brussel sprouts (& MORE brussel sprouts) & burritoes to hold him while I am gone. Loaded up with 40 bottles of diet DP, jars of PB, 40 packages of Oriental Ramen noodle soups, too many packages of NY cheddar chips, Fritoes, Cheddar Sun chips & Cheetoes, instant packets of potatoes and Broccoli/cheese rice and an acre of TP. Now I'll get his prescriptions refilled & set up the pill packs and he should be set.

2 weeks until I leave and almost three weeks that I am gone. Wouldn't want him to waste away to nothing :)

& I still need to recover enough energy to finish the jammies and b-day gifts in process on the sewing machine. how many minutes..?
