Takapuna Beach, Auckland, NZ

Auckland is well known for its many bays and beaches, this is a small part of one of them.  As you can see the day was beautiful.  People were sunbathing (its Autumn), swimming, kayaking, boating, picnicing and walking. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, great for a Sunday!

I had lunch with my friends in Devonport which is also on the North Shore of Auckland and is beside the sea.  It was a naval base and has some lovely little cottages and historic buildings.
