Chinese Decorative meets Indian Cinema in Southall
This is one of the most interesting buildings in Southall - the location which is currently subject to an exhibition at the London South Bank art centre.
This building offers a curious mix of Chinese architecture and minor art deco touches as an embellishment to a cinema that no longer shows films - only their posters :-(
I hear that the film being advertised is not too good even though it stars one of the finest folk singers from Punjab - Gurdaas Maan.
This picture also marks 100 days of attrition of remembering to take a photo a day. I know, I missed one....
