I hate this summer
I felt like taking part in this weeks assignment today, but the best photo of the lot i took was of these flowers and felt they are not of any relevance to what i feel like typing today.
When taking todays photograph i had no idea on what it was going to be nor what i would type, i usually just tend to make it up on the spot. However, while taking this photograph i was wandering around the garden at 10 past 8 in the evening with my jeans and a shirt on i couldn't help but feel really cold. The temperature outside is quite worryingly cold for a summers evening which is sort of concerning as i don't think we have actually had a summer at all here in the UK.
So, i'm taking photographs of random stuff i come across and up comes this colourful summers plant yet the environment in which i am taking it in really does contradict how i should feel when taking a photograph like this.
I know i sometimes blab on about Australia in my blips a bit too much, but due to the fact i'm leaving the UK in potentially 37 blips time i've kept quite an interest to see what the temperature is in Melbourne at the moment and for the last couple of weeks the temperature has either been the same during the day there as it is here or even hotter in Melbourne. It is still winter (going on Spring) in Australia right now whereas it is our summer (turning Autumn).
People i know here are probably not going to get much of a summer from now on and temperatures will just dip even further and then it will be winter which is kinda shite. On a slightly selfish note i kinda know to expect some good weather in the next few months due to the Australian summer coming up.
This summer has completely sucked though, it really has. I don't see it improving for everyone here in the UK anymore. As soon as it starts getting windy then that'll be Autumn kicking in and the temperatures are just going to drop. Wasn't the UK good for the seasons in the past? now it just seems to be a 12 month long winter.
