Definitely dancing

The Adonis amurensis that we blipped in bud about two weeks ago is now definitely up and dancing. It's been going for a week or so, and it looks like it will continue the performance for another week or two.

Our spring cleaning of the allotment is now more or less done. We also pruned the espalier pear trees and planted some perennials and bulbs. The last snow disappeared from the allotment last night or early this morning. Hooray!

It was cloudy in the morning, but around 11AM the clouds started to disappear. Temperatures reached +9°C, so in the sun it was pretty warm, but in the shadow a bit chilly. A wonderful spring day!
