Maiden cruise

At last! The boat was launched today!

What a lovely day!! Started off with the prospect of bad weather, but cleared at about 11:00! Lovely weather, lovely company (M&D ~Letstryit) came over from Rustenburg, to share in the historical moment! The boat is really all we expected it to be! We had a nice BBQ for lunch and played around on the water for another three hours after lunch!

~Letstryit and I took over one thousand shots between the two of us! Watch out for her blip for today, she might only backblip tomorrow!

Amazing bird shots, we discovered an island in Hartbeespoortdam where the Cormorants breed, what a wonderful sight! We saw lóóóts of Cormorant babies in their nests and even a huge leguan! I would love to share all of it with you, but today was the official launch, so, that is what I will have to blip tonight!! ;-)

I am sóóó absolutely exhausted tonight, will show some of the pics on flickr tomorrow, but don't you worry, I will have lots of great pictures to publish in the near futue!! All of them shot from the boat!! Hiehiehie!!!
