Misty morning

A misty start to a fabulous day!

The day started foggy and misty but the sun soon peeked over the edge of the hills above us and as it burned off the mist the blue sky began to show through. My morning walk took me above the mist to the blue sky well before it became visible from our front door.

We spent the day largely outdoors with the sort of outdoor chores that spring brings, but also making ready for the arrival of our dear friends tomorrow.
