Masts

Kaz was meant to go sailing today but it was stormy and really windy so the race was called off. We decided to go into the yacht club anyway because it was the last race of the season and the rest of the crew were meeting up. The wind was about 48 knots (89 km/hour or 55 miles/hour) in the pen behind the breakwater where the yachts are kept! So it would have been a lot worse on the open water in the bay!!

We went shopping after that and bought some pants that the legs can zip off to turn them into shorts for our trip to Thailand! My brother just came back from Bangkok and Koh Samui (which is where we are going) yesterday so I spent some time talking to him on the phone getting some information! I am so excited!!!
