Shadows

Last week we had a bit of a heat wave in Massachusetts. On Wednesday it was at least 90, which was a record. After a few years of living up here I find I can't take heat very well.

Anyway, I took this as I was leaving work Wednesday. I wasn't fully prepared for the shock of walking out the door and feeling that warmth. The sun was still pretty bright and I liked the look of the shadows the stair rails made.

That night I complained it was too hot to sleep. Of course the warmth quickly went away and just a few days later I'm sitting here shivering. Crazy weather lately!
