A rain of chengnolias

This is what our Chengnolia looked like today. It's actually a Magnolia stellata but.....

Seventeen years ago we planted it over the grave of our beloved dog Chenga, a rescued Rhodesian Ridgeback who died after eating meat poisoned with strychnine which a local farmer had illegally left in his field to deter foxes. We miss him everyday.
