Cowpasture River 7:55 PM

Ford has a new crossover SUV, the Ford Immersion, which Dr S. politely drove downriver in to pick me up from the boat landing so I wouldn't get wet in the torrential rain.....

It was a short but most excellent adventure:
drove through the river in the storm,
drank a few brews with the guys,
played with firearms,
ate barbecued ribs,
drank a few brews,
played with knives,
learned a new card game ("Two Card Guts"),
drank a few brews,
beat Dr S. and didn't lose my shirt....

but I see how somebody could get killed in a card game.
