Is it a wonder that my sewing room is my haven - only room in the house where the heater stays on, at least until summer & the sun begins to warm Oregon again.

and my kids wonder why I sew my grands things of flannel, fleece and corduroy, things like jackets, blankies and pj's? They are on their way to the beach or pool wearing swim suits, shorts and tank tops, as they bask in the California sunshine (that I grew up in.)

2 weeks until I get to defrost my bones and warm my cockles thru and thru!
not that I am counting the days (less than 14) or hours (less than 333) or minutes (less than 20,000)
