Tree Huggers Rule!!!
Liz, Michael (Liz's son ) and I went to Athelstaneford in East Lothian today. This is a very important place in Scottish history.
Before an important battle, the outnumbered locals saw a cloud formation in the shape of St. Andrew's cross. It was taken as a sign, and after the locals won, St. Andrew's cross was adopted as the national emblem of Scotand.
It was a lovely place to visit - go and see it if you can!
This tree was in a field next to the memorial.
I was amazed by it.
It was growing in the middle of a field of crops.
It would have been so easy for any of the farmers who have cultivated the field over the years to have pulled it down to make an easier path for their plough.
But they didn't!
There are more people with soul in the world than you might think!
BTW - tomorrow is my 100th Blip and I don't have any ideas. HELP!!!!
