world in a day

Yesterday we visited the Eiffel Tower, Tower Bridge, the Sydney Opera House, Angkor Wat and the Taj Mahal- all without leaving Beijing. Beijing World Park has models of lots of the world's iconic structures, some of them brilliantly detailed (like St Peter's Basilica in the photo) and some of them not so great (a blue-roofed Big Ben). Quite good fun although we're probably about 20 years too old to fully appreciate it!
