Withlacoochee River

The Withlacoochee River originates in central Florida's Green Swamp, east of Polk City. After 88 miles, it empties into the Gulf of Mexico near Yankeetown. "Withlacoochee" stems from a Muskhogean Indian dialect. It means little big water, and is one of Florida's significant waterways.

I was going to go with this Laughing Gull, but felt that his hilarity was out of place, when I locked my keys in my car for the third time this week. I was only saying recently, that I had a magnetic box, with a key, under the car. Wrong, it has gone. On this occasion, 40 miles away from the spare, I cracked, as did the car window when I hit it with a handy rock.
